Dr. Liza A. Moore, MD, FAAD is the clinical director of Luxe Dermatology and Aesthetic Centers. She is a board-certified dermatologist and anti-aging expert specializing in cosmetic and laser dermatology. Dr. Moore is recognized as a leader and expert in the field by both her peers and patients in offering the most advanced technology and minimally invasive surgical techniques for the treatment of dermatological conditions, facial reconstruction, and body rejuvenation. She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from the esteemed Duke University. She completed her dermatology residency at Roger Williams/Boston University Program in Providence, Rhode Island, where she served as chief resident. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women’s Dermatological Society and the American Society of Dermatological Surgery. In addition to her board certification in dermatology, she is also board certified in internal medicine and has numerous publications in reputable dermatological journals. Her expertise is sought after, and she also consults with numerous pharmacological companies including Abbvie, Pfizer, Celgene, and Galderma.

Dr. Moore has been recognized by the Washingtonian Magazine as a Top Doctor. She has also received the Patient’s Choice Award for her excellence in patient care and compassionate care. Dr. Moore's greatest joy is her family, whom she resides within Vienna, VA.

Christine Lienau is a certified Physician Assistant who was born and raised in Northern Virginia. Christine specializes in cosmetic and medical dermatology. Christine has over 6 years of experience in Dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech and graduated with honors, and then went on PA School at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN where she received countless awards for her excellent performance. Christine is passionate about Dermatology and is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to her patients.

When she isn’t practicing medicine, Christine enjoys outdoor activities, music of all kinds, and spending time with her family and friends.

Suzannah “Suzi” Kawachi is a Certified Physician Assistant with a passion for general dermatology and cosmetics. Suzi graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology, and Art minor from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. She completed her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at South University in Tampa and graduated with Honors. During her time as a student, Suzi’s passion for dermatology grew during her dermatology-focused rotations, which included time at the Cutaneous Oncology team at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. 

Suzi has experienced multiple facets of dermatology. Prior to her PA program, Suzi completed close to 3000 hours as a medical assistant in dermatology. During her training, Suzi was able to improve her procedural skills and baseline knowledge in medical dermatology.   She enjoys treating acne, atopic dermatitis, and doing general skin cancer screenings.  At the Moffitt Cancer Center, Suzi had the opportunity to work under renowned physicians in the dermatology, plastic surgery, and cutaneous oncology clinics. She assisted in surgeries with the cutaneous oncology and plastic surgery teams. Suzi was able to attend tumor board meetings and stay informed on the latest therapies offered for melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and Merkel cell carcinoma. Some therapies she found most interesting were T-VEC, an oncolytic virus therapy that is injected directly into cancerous lesions, isolated limb infusion chemotherapy, and percutaneous hepatic perfusion for metastatic uveal melanoma that has spread to the liver. 

Suzi is an active member in the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants. Suzi is efficient yet empathetic, she bases her treatment plans on the goals of the individual patient. To better serve her patients, Suzi prides herself in staying up to date on the latest dermatology treatments. Patient’s concerns will be heard and addressed.  She is also fluent in French. Growing up, Suzi spent time living in Senegal, West Africa, Northern Virginia, and Quebec City, Canada. During her free time, she enjoys coffee, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her boyfriend and their two cats in Fairfax, Virginia.

Sonia Chavez is a Medical Aesthetician at Luxe Dermatology & Aesthetic Center. Sonia has over a decade of experience in the medical field from Endocrinology, Pediatric Oncology, and Dermatology. Sonia specializes in spa treatments and body sculpting. She completed her CoolSculpting University Certification at Zeltiq’s training center in Reston, Virginia, and is Luxe’s Body Sculpting expert!  She has performed over hundreds of CoolSculpting and CoolTone treatments. Sonia has a background in reiki that she loves to showcase during her treatments. Sonia is an exceptional listener and completely fluent in both English and Spanish.
Sonia’s favorite treatments to perform are Hydrafacials as she loves to focus on the patient skin goals and their energy level. She equally loves Coolsculpting and CoolTone as she goes through the bodysulpting journey with every patient making them feel at their very best.

Leila Rahnama is a Master Medical Aesthetician. Beside Aesthetic and skincare training, she has Master degree in Biotechnology and Biomedical science. Leila’s background in science is an advantage for her to determine her patients' needs in both aesthetic perspective and medical science perspective. Knowing the science behind the skin treatments and skincare products helps her to better address her patients skin concerns and conditions. She has over a decade of experience in medical field. She specializes in result-driven treatments such as newest technology lasers such as both ablative or non-ablative lasers, microneedlings, radiofrequencies and bodysculpting treatments. She completed Coolsculpting training and certification , Morpheus8 and Aviclear treatmenets. She has Reiki background and certification as well. She is fluent in both English and Persian (Farsi). She likes to personalize and customize treatment plans and products for each patient to give the patient the best results. Her favorite treatments for her patients are the ones that give the best results for each individual patient. During the skincare journey that she has with her patients she is always here and available for her patients so both her and her patients can see the skincare transformation to give her patients the best healthy and glowing skin. Kathryn is a medical aesthetician at Luxe. She carries a deep-rooted passion for skin health and confidence, Kathryn brings both heart and expertise to every service offered. A licensed esthetician with formal training and hands-on experience from a Dermalogica Pro-affiliated school, she has performed a wide range of advanced treatments—from custom facials and chemical peels to brow laminations, lash lifts, and more.

Her journey into esthetics began with a personal struggle with skin concerns, which transformed into a calling to help others feel radiant in their own skin. Guided by the belief that esthetics is where science meets art, she combines clinical precision with a creative touch to deliver results that are not only effective but beautifully customized.
